What is QuiltCampus?
It is an online campus where you can take a variety of classes from quilt teachers, meet quilt students, share experiences, ask questions, and share photos of class projects - all from the comfort of home. Our teachers and students come from all over the world. Taking classes online is easy and fun and one of the bonuses is the people you will meet.

Online classes are similar to correspondence courses, but with a twist - you can converse with the teacher and with other students through a forum!

What is the difference between a Class and a Workshop?

Classes
Classes are presented by well-known quilting teachers.
Class lessons are presented on web pages which are available to the students for the duration of the class session.
Teachers and students correspond with one another via a web forum.
There is a class fee since QuiltCampus pays the teacher to present the class.
Special Chat Workshops
Special Chat Workshops are presented by volunteer quilters during live chat sessions.
All Special chat workshops are free!
Students and volunteers correspond with one another via a live chat channel.
The workshops are available only during the Special Chat sessions.
Each week the current step and the past week's step are available. If you happen to miss a week, you can still participate in the workshop.
Many of the Special chat workshops have two sessions per week.
You can participate in either session to get that week's step.
You can even request steps you may have missed.
Click here to check out our Special Chat workshops.
Blog Workshops
Blog workshops are presented by volunteer quilters on a blog system.
  All blog workshops are free!
Students and volunteers correspond with one another via comments on the workshop blog.
Each week a new step is posted on a web page and each step is available for four weeks.
